Our animals are an important part of the Eco-Therapy program at Windana’s Therapeutic Community. The program is located on a large, country property. Farm animals such as goats, cows, alpacas, ducks and chickens assist residents to develop a range of animal husbandry skills while enjoying the opportunity to care for these animals. Along with the therapeutic benefits of working with animals, the program produces fresh eggs, milk and other dairy products for the program. Your $50 will make an important contribution to the quality of ‘hard feed’ which is a vital component of a healthy diet for our animals.
