Thursday the 12th of March was a day of great celebration at Windana. The annual Mocktail Party held that evening took a birthday theme, to honour the 100th birthday of our much loved Patron, Dame Elisabeth Murdoch, and Windana’s 25th birthday. A giant marquee, decorated with a theme of hearts, roses and balloons, created a festive, party atmosphere in the gardens of Windana, at St Kilda. Harpist and singer, Mary Doumany helped create an elegant and relaxed ambiance, as arriving guests were greeted by the Board and CEO.

Windana had a successful day at Bunnings on the 23rd November raising $922.00 to go towards landscaping the gardens at the Windana Youth Community House. more…
Windana Community Centre Open Day
Despite the very chilly winter’s day, we were very pleased to have a good crowd of enthusiastic visitors participate in our Open Day on Saturday 28th July. Visitors were able to see and experience a wide range of the therapies available at our Community Centre. The Kinesiology presentation and the Art Therapy discussion panel were well attended, as were the yoga and meditation sessions and the cooking demonstration. more…
